Who we are

Maren is operated by Present Future Labs Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means Present Future Labs Inc.

What we collect and why

At this stage, Maren is a waitlist landing page. We collect the minimum data necessary to manage the waitlist and improve this page:

  • Email address — to add you to the waitlist, send a confirmation, and notify you when Maren launches. Stored by our email provider, Resend.
  • Survey responses (optional) — your race name, race date, and training concern. Used to inform product development. Stored on Vercel infrastructure.
  • Analytics data (if you consent) — page views and interaction events, collected through PostHog and Google Analytics. No data is collected until you click "Accept Analytics."

What we will never do

Maren does not and will never sell your personal data. We will never use your health or fitness data for advertising. These are not aspirations — they are commitments baked into how we build.

  • Resend — email delivery and contact storage
  • Vercel — website hosting and data storage
  • PostHog — analytics (only with your consent)
  • Google Analytics — analytics (only with your consent)

Cookies

We use one first-party cookie (cookie_consent) to remember your analytics preference. If you accept analytics, PostHog and Google Analytics may set additional cookies for session tracking. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends it, non-essential cookies are automatically rejected.

Data retention

Waitlist emails and survey responses are retained until Maren launches and you either create an account or we delete them. We will not retain waitlist data indefinitely.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@withmaren.com. We will process your request within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, California, or any jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have additional rights including access, correction, and portability. Contact us and we will honor them.
